MIDTOWN EAST GUT RENOVATION, MANHATTAN NY
A Complete Transformation
This renovation project was for a young family in one of Midtown’s luxury buildings. It was a complete gut renovation and we helped with the space planning, design, selection of all finishes, fixtures, fittings and its execution.
The kitchen underwent a complete transformation. We changed the original layout to create a harmonious working triangle in between the sink, stove and refrigerator. Top white and bottom blue shaker cabinets with gold pulls create a bright and cheerful kitchen for this young family.
A built-in refrigerator in blue shaker style ties in with the rest of the kitchen. Globe lighting in white adds a modern touch, keeping with the airy feel of this kitchen.
The client wanted to keep the bathrooms white and simple. These also served as a break room in an otherwise colorful home. White subway tiles on the walls and smaller format tiles for the floors with wood finished vanities and gold fittings make these bathrooms simple yet elegant.
The concept of white walls and floors, a statement vanity, gold fittings and medicine cabinets keeps with the theme of understated luxury.
We selected and specified all the doors, pulls, mouldings and finishes for this renovation.
